Hot Tubs

I hate the jets.

It's much more relaxing to sit in the calm, hot water. It's peaceful. It's clear. It's comfortable.

The jets cause chaos, noise, and disruption to the calm. They inhibit conversation. They blur vision. And they hurt sometimes.

But it's through the chaos that we learn the most about ourselves and life. Hidden in the bubbly water is purpose and reason to the noise.

And it's when the water is calm again that we can see clearly the things we learned and why the chaos was necessary.

Thank God for hot tubs.
